Business

The aim of this area is "To provide members with the opportunity to develop their business experience and network".

We organise regular business visits or presentations through which we learn about different organizations and what they do.

Recent visits and presentations have included:

· Selfridges
· BBC North West television
· The National Trust’s estate at Dunham Massey
· Spinningfields
· The Lowry Arts Centre

We also host Audiences, or question and answer sessions with local leaders in business and the community. The Audiences are intended to enable participants to learn about leadership by questioning recognized leaders and finding out what makes them tick.

Recent Audiences include:

· Michael Todd, Chief Constable of Greater Manchester Police
· Sir Howard Bernstein, Chief Executive of Manchester City Council
